Just DO The Damn Thing

Let’s be honest: if you're waiting to “feel ready” before you make changes in your life, you’re gonna be waiting forever. That magical moment where motivation shows up with a glittery cape and a flawless meal plan? It’s a lie. It doesn’t exist. And the longer you wait for it, the more stuck you stay.

I’ve been there. I used to think I needed the perfect plan—the right day, the right food, the right headspace—to finally get my sh*t together. Spoiler alert: that plan never showed up. So eventually, I stopped waiting and did the damn thing anyway.

💣 The Myth of Feeling “Ready”

Let’s kill this myth once and for all: readiness is a trap.
If you’re telling yourself, “I’ll start when I have more time” or “after this weekend,” what you really mean is never.

Readiness is just fear wearing a responsible outfit.
It tells you to wait because the timing’s off. Or because you’re too tired. Or broke. Or overwhelmed.
Guess what? You’ll still be all those things next week. But now you're one week deeper in the same damn cycle.

🚶‍♀️ Imperfect Action = Real Progress

What actually works?
Messy, uncomfortable, barely-holding-it-together action.
The kind where you go for a walk in pajama pants. Or throw out the expired cookies. Or drink water instead of soda one single time. That’s the kind of action that changes things.

And here’s the kicker: the more tiny, imperfect steps you take, the more momentum you build.
You're not just getting healthier—you’re proving to yourself that you can be trusted to show up. Even when it’s not perfect. Especially then.

🔁 Real Growth Is Iterative, Not Instant

You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. You need to do something and learn from it.
Tried a new workout and hated it? Cool. Now you know.
Meal prepped and still ate pizza on Thursday? Fine. You still prepped. That’s progress.

You don’t need perfect. You need movement. And trust me: when you get tired of your own excuses, movement feels like a revolution.

🏁 Final Word: Take the Damn Step

You don’t need permission. You don’t need a sign.
You need to get out of your own way and take one small step—today, not Monday.
Because imperfect progress will always beat perfect procrastination.

So, whatever your version of “the thing” is—do it. Badly, awkwardly, half-assed if you have to.
But do it.

I’m cheering for you. But more importantly—I’ll hold you accountable if you’re ready to stop bullsh*tting yourself.
